On October 26, 2023, Hope for the Homeless Foundation had its annual fundraiser, Partner Together To Give Hope campaign.  One hundred twenty-three people attended the in-person event, which is more than double the number of people who attended our online fundraiser last year.  The purpose of the event was to financially support four organizations in the Portland area that have a proven track record of helping the homeless return to stability and become housed.

During the year, HHF identified and then vetted four organizations worthy of being financially supported by our donors.  They were:

• Agape Village

• CityTeam Portland

• Open House Ministries

• West Women’s and Children’s Shelter. 

Donors who had donated a $1,000 or more during the calendar year were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite organization among the four.  During the fundraiser, attendees of the event were shown videos of the four organizations before they voted to assist in the decision-making process. 

HHF is awarding $200,000 to these four organizations.  The organization that received the most votes was to get 40 percent of the total funds distributed or $80,000 (40% x $200,000). The other three recipients would receive 20 percent of the total distributed or $40,000 (20% x $200,000).  Below are the results of the vote:
